Ponder FAQ
What is Ponder?
Ponder is a platform that turns conversations with AI into living, structured tools we call Cognitive Artifacts. These are persistent, interactive documents—like checklists, planners, maps, or trackers—that you and your AI agents can co-edit, share, and keep up to date.
How is it different from ChatGPT or other AI tools?
Most AI tools keep you in an endless scroll of chat. Ponder captures the useful parts of a conversation and turns them into structured, reliable tools you can revisit, edit, and share—without digging through old messages.
What can I use it for?
Ponder works for everyday tasks and creative projects, like:
- Planning events
- Tracking habits or health goals
- Managing study schedules
- Organizing shopping lists or wishlists
- Logging fieldwork or research
Do I need to download an app?
Not yet. Ponder is currently in beta, and our mobile app is not yet available for download. You can access Ponder via the web during this period.
Can I use it via email?
Email integration is coming soon. For now, you can use Ponder directly in the web interface.
Can I share my Ponders with other people?
Yes. You can share them as read-only, give edit access, or even let others interact with your AI agent through the same artifact.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. You control who can see or edit each artifact. Ponder has built-in permissions and secure syncing to keep your information safe.
How much does it cost?
During beta, Ponder is free to use. We plan to introduce paid tiers in the future for more features, storage, and premium agents.
How can I try it out?
We're inviting early users to join our waitlist during beta. Signing up ensures you'll be among the first to explore Ponder, provide feedback, and help shape its future.
